Tiny Day

Privacy Policy

Tiny Day is designed to work without an account or cloud service. Your planning data stays on your device and is not sent to us.

Information you enter

Tiny Day may store the name you choose to provide, tasks, notes, subtasks, routines, priorities, schedules, completion history, mood check-ins, and app preferences. This information is stored locally on your device using the app's local storage.

Data collection and sharing

Tiny Day does not transmit personal information or app activity to the developer. The app has no account system, advertising, analytics, cloud sync, or third-party tracking SDK. We do not sell or share your information.

If you contact the developer by email or GitHub, that service processes the information you choose to send under its own privacy terms. Support messages are used only to respond to your request and maintain the app.

Notifications

If you grant notification permission, Tiny Day schedules reminders locally on your device. Task names may appear in notifications unless you enable Privacy Mode, which uses generic reminder text. Notification permission is optional and can be changed in Tiny Day or Android settings.

Permissions

Tiny Day requests notification permission only when you choose to enable reminders. If you choose Connect & import, it requests calendar access and reads timed events for the next seven days. Imported event titles, times, and locations are copied only into Tiny Day's private on-device storage; they are not transmitted, and Tiny Day never writes to your calendar. You can deny or revoke this permission at any time. Tiny Day does not request access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos, or files. Cloud synchronization is not implemented.

Storage, security, and retention

App data remains in Tiny Day's private application storage for as long as the app data remains on your device. Android's operating-system protections and device backup settings may apply. Tiny Day does not add separate database encryption.

Delete your data

You can delete individual tasks and routines inside the app. To erase all Tiny Day data, use Android Settings → Apps → Tiny Day → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the app. Because there is no Tiny Day account or server copy, there is no separate account-deletion request.

Children's privacy

Tiny Day is a general productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13. The developer does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

Material changes will be published on this page and the effective date will be updated. Release notes may also summarize privacy-related changes.
